(give or take) At $600.00 that's more than the initial cost of a P365 to add a Red Dot. So..if you get a P365 for $500.00 and the Red Dot for $600.00 you now have an $1,100.00 P365 setup. For the most part the P365 for the last year has been done right with few issues that would be of note. Currently SIG is shipping and they are selling within a week or three directly after, which means they are catching up. I converted the XL to a macro and the P365 to a P365X. I believe I'm going to leave the 380 as is, you can feel the weight difference. Had much difficulty reaching and compressing the stock release. I did polish and smooth out the body of the catch with a rotary tool and buffing wheel with Flitz polish. The issue was when I pull the trigger with a live round in the chamber it did not fire. I called today for an update and was told that my P365 went into the custom shop this morning for diagnosis and repair.For this reason on my P365, I swapped out my sig Xrays for trijicon HDs - so the sight alignment /picture and technique is the same across all of my pistols (glock, HK among a few others). Point being that you get good, consistent, and repeatable results with repetition (muscle and brain memory). Anyway, just a thought to consider - and enjoy ...Regardless, once Sig receives the P365, they will probably replace the entire upper. They will do whatever is necessary to return it to specifications. Call Sig customer service back and let them know that old extractor is unavailable. They should know this. It was frustrating to hear his main complaint with the 365 was lack of a safety. Sig sells a 365 with manual safety but he failed to mention that fact. Also, as a another member pointed out, Paul was critical of the magazine release button.Shoot them a few times. Take them apart and put them back together. Check the follower for left over swarf or debris. Check the feet of the follower for casting residue or anything else that would prevent it from reaching full depth.
