With the recent sudden influx of new players to FFXIV, I decided that it's a good time to undertake the gigantic project of re-vamping my prehistoric original crafting guide from 2014. This reconstruction is still unfinished, and will take awhile to complete. Quick venture is absolutely worth it if you have your retainers leveled and geared up. You can get otherwise unobtainable items like some 1.0 gear and Venture Coffers (which can have premium dye or Retainer Fantasia). You can also get high-end housing items, tomestone gear, or extreme trial weapons. However the RNG is pretty brutal, sometimes ... When the next 24 man is released, we should be able to turn in the Weeping City stuff. Raid gear is usually two patches. Gordian gear couldn't be turned in until 3.2, Void Ark gear in 3.3, Midan gear in 3.4 and I'd expect Weeping City in 3.5 (and Alexandrian probably in 3.55, since we most likely won't have 3.6)..
