i have not tried to pull anything with my X500 yet, but used my L130 a few times to skid 6-10" trees from my yard to the brush pile. one had rootball and all on it, i had pulled it up with my truck. it HAD to weigh in at better than 600 pounds, but the L pulled it just fine. so my X500 should pull more than that easy.
