I got a new WiFi and am trying to connect the August Connect to the new WiFi using the August Home app. The Wifi has both 2.4 and 5 G bands. After plugging it in. It blinks green relative fast. Then red at the same frequency. it repeats that cycle after a pause. Pressing the button for 5 seconds does not lead to a slow green blink.
